Role overview and responsibilities

Dhruva Space is looking to hire a Vice President - International Sales who shall work directly with the company's cofounders and business development team to drive the company's global market expansion efforts. The hired candidate's strategic leadership and extensive experience in sales and business development will be instrumental in growing the company's international customer base and positioning Dhruva Space as a leader in the global New Space industry.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals;
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify key regions, potential clients, and emerging opportunities for our space-related products and services. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competition, and geopolitical factors that could impact sales strategies;
  • Work towards ensuring Customer Success with Key Accounts of the company;
  • Manage the sales team, operations, and resources to deliver profitable growth;
  • Work towards building efficient methods for Customer Acquisition in the defined markets;
  • Build and manage the overall Sales Funnel for global markets;
  • Work with the management team to build Sales Forecast in line with the company's goals;
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership
    team and other company functions;
  • Work closely with the marketing team to establish successful support, channel, and partner
    programs; and
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and develop critical relationships

Candidate requirements
  • Mandatory 7-8 years of prior experience in International Sales.
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods at a Global level.
  • Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and professional business skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Proven experience/expertise in meeting and prospecting qualified leads.
  • Experience of working in the Aerospace/Defence industry is desirable.
