Dhruva Space is launching the Thybolt mission in collaboration with amateur radio operators across India to validate its Satellite Platform and enable advancements in research, constellation development and application agnostics use by customers. This mission shall use our P-DoT Satellite Platform for conducting a sequence of technology demonstrations to contribute to the space heritage of India.
To drive the success of this mission, we are leveraging technologies developed indigenously by Dhruva Space in the Space, Launch and Ground Segments.
ABOUT THYBOLT 1 AND THYBOLT 2
The Thybolt 1 and Thybolt 2 satellites are made on the Dhruva Space-developed P-DoT system, which is a 0.5U spacecraft bus that includes a communication payload to enable rapid technology demonstration and constellation development for multiple users. It also demonstrates Store-and-Forward functionality for authorized users in the amateur frequency band.
In order to implement high agility, the compact, scalable platform leverages a powerful processor and space-grade components that provides reliable and robust operations.
