(a). When you use our website: to browse the products and services and view the information as made available by Dhruva Space on its portals, several cookies are used by us to allow the website to perform, collect information and to help enhance your user experience.

(b). When you submit an enquiry via our website: When you submit an enquiry via our website, we ask you for your name, contact telephone number and email address.

• We use this information to respond to your query, including providing you with any requested information about our products and services. We may also email you several times after your enquiry to follow up on your interest and ensure that we have answered it to your satisfaction. We do this to respond to your enquiry, as a legitimate use under Section 7 of the DPDPA (responding to a request you have made) or on the basis of your consent.
• Your enquiry is stored and processed as an email which is hosted by Google Cloud within India. It is also logged on a CRM system on a cloud server based in India, a country which has an adequate data protection law in place to protect your data.
• We do not use the information you provide to make automated decisions that might affect you.
• We keep enquiry emails for two years, after which they are securely archived and kept for two (02) years, when we delete them. CRM records are kept for two (02) years after the last contact with you.
• When you purchase satellite imagery through the AstraView platform: The following applies only to purchases made through AstraView (not to the general Dhruva Space website). AstraView is currently in beta. When you make a purchase, we collect the information needed to process your order and payment (such as your name, contact and billing details). Payment is handled by a third-party payment provider; Dhruva Space does not store your full card details. We process this information on the basis of contractual necessity (to complete the purchase you request). Transaction and order records are retained as required by applicable tax and company law. As AstraView's features are finalised, this section will be updated to reflect the payment provider, data handling and retention specifics, and any additional information required at that time.
• We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

(c). When you sign up to receive our newsletter: When you sign up to receive our newsletter, we ask for only your email address.

• We will ask for your consent to use your name and email address to email you our newsletter which contains information about our products and other information which we feel might be of interest to you.
• You can withdraw your consent at any time, and we will stop sending you the newsletter.
• Your name and email address are shared with a third-party mailing system which is based in India and is committed to providing appropriate safeguards for your personal data.
• We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.
• We keep your PII for as long as we produce and distribute our newsletter. If you withdraw your consent, we will mark your details so that they are not used and delete them after one (01) year.

(d). When you download a sample document: When you request to download a sample document, such as a white paper, we ask for your name, company name (which is optional) and your email address.

• We use this information to email you a link to download the requested document. We may also email you after your download to follow up on your interest in our products and services. Where we use your details to follow up or market to you, we do so on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
• Your name and email address are shared with a third-party mailing system which is based in India and is committed to providing appropriate safeguards for your PII.
• We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.
• Your PII is stored for two (02) years after you requested your download, after which it is deleted.

(e). When you submit a review about us: When you submit a review about us, we record your name, your email address and your IP (Internet Protocol) address, which is the address of your computer on the Internet.

• We use this information to provide verified independent views about our products and services to potential customers. Your name and the content of your review (but not your email address or IP address) may be publicly displayed on our website. Where your review is used for marketing, we do so on the basis of your consent; you may ask us to remove it at any time.
• We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.
• Your PII is stored for as long as we are marketing the product or services that the review refers to, after which it is deleted. You may ask us to remove your review at any time.

(f). When you take part in our feedback survey: When you take part in our feedback survey, we record your name, your email address, your organisation name, your job role and your answers to questions we ask about your opinion of, and use of, our products and services.

• We use this information to develop and improve our products and services and our customer relationships. Your job role, organisation and some or all your comments may be publicly displayed on our website as a testimonial. Where your review is used for marketing, we do so on the basis of your consent; you may ask us to remove it at any time.

• Your PII is stored for two (02) years, or for as long as we are marketing the product or services that the review refers to, whichever is shorter. You may ask us to remove a testimonial that is based on your feedback from our website at any time.

(g). When you authenticate or log in to our platforms: When you submit a form or register as a vendor on our platform: When you fill out a query, registration, or contact form, we collect your email address or phone number to verify your submission and securely authenticate your identity via OTP.

• We use a third-party service provider, to handle this authentication and deliver verification codes (such as OTPs) but no data is stored
• We use this information strictly to verify your identity, secure form submissions, and process your requests or registrations.
• We do not use this authentication information to make automated decisions that might affect you.

7. Your rights as a Data Principal / Fiduciary

Under the DPDPA 2023 you may ask us what personal data we hold about you and request correction of inaccurate data. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

(b). Right to correction and erasure: you may request correction of inaccurate data, or erasure of your personal data where it is no longer required, subject to legal retention obligations.
(c). Right to grievance redressal: you may raise a grievance with our Data Protection Officer and expect a response within a reasonable time.
(d). Right to nominate: you may nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity (DPDPA s.6(9)).

8. Children Under Eighteen

Dhruva Space does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of eighteen. If you are under the age of eighteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.
